Leaderly Quote: Opportunity does not come gift-wrapped. You must take risks.

Want to be excited to come to work on Monday morning? Nina Bhatti has a suggestion for you.
Nina is founder and CEO of Kokko, Inc., an e-commerce startup that will help consumers find the perfect color cosmetics. Before becoming a ‘corporate escapee’, Nina spent over a decade with leading innovation with HP, where she advanced to become Chief Performance Architect for mobile printing solutions. She was, in her past roles, a classic intrapreneur: A corporate employee who acts entrepreneurially so as to benefit their company.
I interviewed Nina for a recent webinar on Intrapreneurship (you can view the recording when you become a member, here and read her advice on establishing credibility and influence here.)
So what advice does Nina have for corporate employees who are craving a more entrepreneurial work-life? “If you want to feel excited to come to work on Monday morning, become an intrapreneur,” she says. “Opportunity does not come gift-wrapped”, adds Nina, and although it can be uncomfortable, “You must take risks.”
